			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img style='float: left; margin-right: 10px; border: none;' src='http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=77143ee7e36a6040feeb4cf3e2bf6c8e&amp;size=40&amp;default=http://diehardsportsfan.net/files/2008/01/defaultgravatar.jpg' alt=''/>Hello Bills fans.  I can&#8217;t believe training camp is only five days away.  The only concern I have at this time is that there are still five draft picks unsigned.  <strong>Leodis McKelvin</strong>, <strong>James Hardy</strong>, <strong>Chris Ellis</strong>, <strong>Alvin Bowen</strong> and<strong> Xavier Omon</strong>.  I believe Ellis, Bowen and Omon will get signed within the next few days.  McKelvin and Hardy will be more difficult and might miss the beginning of training camp.  The team needs both guys there from day one to learn from the veterans on the team.  Both McKelvin and Hardy will be relied upon to contribute from the start.  I feel that Hardy is the one that we need to have in our starting lineup from week one.  Hardy has the height and ball skills to help this offense in the redzone.  The team needs Hardy to take pressure off of star wide receiver <strong>Lee Evans</strong>.  If Hardy can develop into a solid threat, look for Evans to have a monster season.  McKelvin will most likely be the nickel corner unless he has a tremendous camp.  <strong>Terrence McGee</strong> and <strong>Jabari Greer</strong> are solid and are more than capable starters.  Lets hope everyone is signed and in camp on Friday. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img style='float: left; margin-right: 10px; border: none;' src='http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=77143ee7e36a6040feeb4cf3e2bf6c8e&amp;size=40&amp;default=http://diehardsportsfan.net/files/2008/01/defaultgravatar.jpg' alt=''/>Hello Bills fans.  I can&#8217;t believe training camp starts in 10 days.  I am very excited to get this season underway because of the improvements the team has made this past off-season.  I have a few concerns right now going into camp.  The Bills top three draft picks are still unsigned.  <strong>Leodis McKelvin</strong>, <strong>James Hardy</strong> and <strong>Chris Ellis</strong> need to be in camp on day one.  McKelvin and Hardy especially because both players are going to be relied upon from week one.  Hardy needs to get comfortable in this offense because he will eventually become our #2 receiver.  I feel comfortable with our starting corners and would like to see McKelvin learn from <strong>Jabari Greer</strong> and <strong>Terrence McGee</strong>.  McKelvin should also be used on special teams as a returner.  He has great speed and showed in college that he is a threat to take one to the house on every return.  Its tough to say if he will beat out McGee or <strong>Roscoe Parrish</strong> but it will be great to see him get some shots in the preseason.  The only other main concern I have, which probably is the biggest, is the <strong>Jason Peters</strong> situation.  Peters missed all the voluntary and one mandatory camp this offseason.  It has been speculated that he is looking to cash in after his Pro Bowl season last year.  Peters also must be there from day one to continue the chemistry the o-line developed last season.  Lets hope all the rookies and Jason Peters are at St. John Fisher come July 25th.  Cant wait to get this thing started.  Go Bills. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img style='float: left; margin-right: 10px; border: none;' src='http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=77143ee7e36a6040feeb4cf3e2bf6c8e&amp;size=40&amp;default=http://diehardsportsfan.net/files/2008/01/defaultgravatar.jpg' alt=''/>Hello Bills fans.  I came across this article on <a href="http://fantasy.sportingnews.com/nfl/experts/george-winkler/20080710.html">sportingnews.com </a>that analyzes the Bills from a fantasy football prospective.  The article basically states that the Bills will open up the offense more under new coordinator <strong>Turk Schonert</strong>.  <strong>Marshawn Lynch</strong> will also be given more responsibility in the passing game.  <strong>Trent Edwards</strong> will be relied upon to take this team to the next level.  The Bills brass has a lot of faith as do I in Trent.  I feel that he has the brains and the tools to help this team get back to the playoffs.  I also feel with the additions of <strong>Marcus Stroud</strong> and <strong>Kawika Mitchell</strong>, our defense can dominate especially at stopping the run.  A healthy Stroud means linebackers <strong>Paul Posluszny</strong> and <strong>Angelo Crowell</strong> flowing to the ball untouched.  Stroud will be doubled team which will also free up either <strong>John McCargo</strong>, <strong>Kyle Williams</strong> or <strong>Spencer Johnson</strong>.  This team is going to suprise many and I can&#8217;t wait for September 7th.  Go Bills. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img style='float: left; margin-right: 10px; border: none;' src='http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=77143ee7e36a6040feeb4cf3e2bf6c8e&amp;size=40&amp;default=http://diehardsportsfan.net/files/2008/01/defaultgravatar.jpg' alt=''/>Hello Bills fans.  Today the team announced that they have signed seventh round pick <a href="http://buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=6202">Steve Johnson</a>.  Johnson was the second of three seven round picks the Bills had in the 2008 draft.  Johnson had a monster senior year as a receiver, posting over 1,000 yards and 13 tds.  He has great size at 6&#8242;2&#8243; 200 lbs.  He will be competing for the fifth wide receiver spot with special teams standout <strong>Justin Jenkins</strong>.  If the the team only decides to keep five receivers, the training camp battle between Jenkins and Johnson will be one to watch.  With a little grooming, Johnson can turn out to be a solid receiver in the NFL. </p>
<p>On the NFL Network program total access, Jamie Dukes was asked about what he thought of <strong>Donte Whitner&#8217;s</strong> comment that said he guaranteed the Bills will make the playoffs.  Dukes responded by saying that he agrees with Whitner.  I always like Dukes and feel that he is a 100% right.  Thanks for billieving.  Go Bills. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img style='float: left; margin-right: 10px; border: none;' src='http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=77143ee7e36a6040feeb4cf3e2bf6c8e&amp;size=40&amp;default=http://diehardsportsfan.net/files/2008/01/defaultgravatar.jpg' alt=''/>Hello Bills fans.  There is a great article on <a href="http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=431691">sportingnews.com </a>of how Bills starting safety <strong>Donte Whitner</strong> has taken rookie <strong>Leodis McKelvin</strong> under his wing.  Whitner has let McKelvin move in with him and is showing him how to be a leader on and off the field.  About half way through the article, Whitner was asked if he expects to make the playoffs this year.  His answer &#8221;I&#8217;m guaranteeing it.&#8221;  I think this team can definitely reach the playoffs due to all of the key acquistions and draft picks we had this offseason.  Whitner is a true leader and is showing his desire to get the team back to the playoffs.  He not only has taken McKelvin in, he is showing him us Bills fans that he deserves to be captain of the defense.  He is becoming one of my favorite players on the team.  He is an extremely classy person and Im glad that he is on the team.  Go Donte.  Go Bills.  Playoffs here we come.</p>
