Hello Bills fans. This week the Buffalo Bills will play their first Monday night game at home in 13 years. The only bad thing is that they will play the 4-0 Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys have looked real good and seem to have both a great offense and defense. This game will be another test for rookie quarterback Trent Edwards. I can’t wait to see how he follows up his fantastic first start. I’m really excited because I will be at the Ralph for this one. When the schedule came out and I saw a Monday night game at home, I instantly circled that as the game I was going to attend. I always go to one game a year and try to pick the month of October because the weather is usually real nice. I have a good feeling that we will play the Cowboys really tough. Hopefully all of our players will be pumped for this nationally televised game. I would love to see Marshawn Lynch get his first 100 yard game and Lee Evans get a few touchdown grabs. It’s going to be nice to have Anthony Hargrove back to give some rest to Aaron Schobel and Chris Kelsay. We must get pressure on Tony Romo and cause him to make some errant throws. I can’t wait for the game and hope we beat Dallas. Lets Go Bills.

Hello Bills fans. This week is going to be an extremely tough game. The New England Patriots look just like the powerhouse everyone thought they would be. One thing I would love to see this weekend is both Aaron Schobel and Chris Kelsay sacking Tom Brady. Schobel has had great success against New England’s o-line and has sacked Brady over 10 times. If Schobel can get to Brady on Sunday and maybe force a fumble or a bad throw, I believe we will be in this game. I really want to see our young yet fast defense play a complete game. We need to attack right from the get go and show this New England team that we our no pushover. It really hurts that we have no depth at the defensive end position. Anthony Hargrove getting suspended really but a damper on what I thought would be a great backup pass rusher. He is due back week five and hopefully can contribute right away. He did look good in the pre-season and showed some flashes last year. Our linebackers also have to be flying all over the field this week. Posluszny, Crowell, and DiGiorgio have to tackle with force and get physical with this high-powered offense. Lets hope that defensive coordinator Perry Fewell has some tricks up his sleeve to create some turnovers. The Bills will need to get at least two or even three turnovers to be in this one. I beg you defense, please get pressure on Brady and get some three and outs. Our defense has been on the field way too long in both games and I would like to see our offense have some time consuming drives. Both will be extremely tough tasks against this team. Lets Go Bills and I will never stop billieving.

The Buffalo Bills dropped a tough one against Atlanta on Friday. Even though they lost the game, there were many positive signs. J.P. Losman had a few nice throws and Marshawn Lynch showed some flashes of his cutting ability. Lee Evans made a fantastic catch on the sidelines for a 36-yard gain. J.P. and Lee continue to develop that chemistry that came on during the second half of last season. Although the Falcons marched down the field on their opening drive, the defense led by Paul Poslusny and Donte Whitner, stuffed Atlanta at the goaline on fourth down. Coy Wire had some serious hits and caused a fumble that landed in the hands of John McCargo. Wire did a terrific job filling in for Angelo Crowell. I guess the switch to linebacker has him pumped. Most of the starters on offense played the entire first half. The play of the night on offense was Trent Edwards hitting Roscoe Parrish for a 10 yard TD. On the defensive side, Anthony Hargove intercepted a pass and took it to the ten-yard line, which led to the TD pass from Edwards. Overall the team played well but I for one cannot wait to see the finished product take the field on September 9th. The major concern I have, as does every other Bills fan is stopping the run this year. I hope McCargo turns out to be the guy that we all thought he would be. Lets go Bills. Can’t wait for the regular season to begin.

The Buffalo Bills took a hit on the defensive side of the ball Friday. Ryan Denney broke a bone in his foot during the opening kickoff. Denney has turned out to be a very important piece of our defense. He rotates with Chris Kelsay so that we always have someone fresh. He played well last year and I was expecting another year like that out of him. There is no immediate timetable for his return. I am really upset because with him being out, Schobel and Kelsay are the only two guys with experience in our defense. Anthony Hargrove is suspended for the first four games after he violated the leagues substance abuse policy. Hopefully Eric Powell will be able to fill in for Denney. The Bills might be waiting for the first round of cuts at the end of August to see who is out there. We need someone that has experience playing in the cover two. Simeon Rice would be an option but I don’t think the Bills will want to pay him the money he is looking for. Maybe either Powell or one of the young guys in camp will surprise us all.
