Hello Bills fans. Today Kevin Everett made his first public appearance on the Oprah show. It was truly amazing when he was introduced, seeing him walk out there like the injury never happened. He looked great and received a standing ovation from the crowd. It’s truly a miracle that Kevin is able to walk less than five months after the horrific spinal cord injury that he suffered. Kevin was very humble and seemed extremely grateful and explained what was going through his mind during the whole process. There are certain things that Kevin has to adjust to but he rehabs every day and his a true inspiration to all. Dr. Cappuccino, the surgeon that saved Kevin, explained the risky procedure he used in not only saving Kevin’s life but also allowing him to walk again. Good luck with the rehab Kevin. Go Bills.

Hello Bills fans. After reading an article from the Buffalo News, the Bills have finalized a deal to play eight games in Toronto over the next five seasons. They will be playing five regular season games and three preseason games starting in the 2008 season. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will most likely announce this within in the next few days. I don’t know what to think about this. I love going to the Ralph to watch the Bills play and I’m sure most fans that live in Buffalo are not happy about this. Does the season ticket holder get a choice whether to purchase seven games played at the Ralph with an option for purchasing a ticket to the Toronto game? I’m sure that is a question that will be answered very shortly. I just hope that the Bills remain in Buffalo and that this is just to increase fan base in Canada. Go Bills.

Hello Bills fans. As the Super Bowl approaches, I cant stop thinking about who the Bills will take in the 2008 NFL Draft. I read an article today on realfootball365 about the Bills coaches interviewing and observing linebackers at this past Saturdays Senior Bowl. The team is looking for a weakside linebacker to replace Keith Ellison. I for one liked the way Ellison played but was a little undersized and didn’t make much noise when on the field. The best linebackers available are Keith Rivers from USC and Xavier Adibi from Virginia Tech. Putting Rivers or Adibi next to Posluszny and Crowell will do wonders for the Bills defense. I don’t know if the Bills will take a linebacker with the 11th pick because I don’t feel that is our most pressing need. The defense can really use a defensive tackle and a tall wide receiver. I would love to address both of those needs in free agency and then we will be able to draft Rivers with the 11th pick. We will have to wait and see what the Bills front office does once free agency starts. April cannot come soon enough. Go Bills.

Hello Bills fans. I just watched the Senior Bowl and here is my list of players that would help the Bills in a big way. Defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis from USC is a beast. He made a bunch of plays today and had to be doubled teamed most of the time. I hope this guy falls to the Bills at #11. He will most likely be a top five pick. The guy is going to be a great pro. Draft expert Mike Mayock ranks Ellis above Glenn Dorsey from LSU. I pray that he is still there when the Bills are on the board. Another defensive tackle that impressed me was Trevor Laws from Notre Dame. He is another defensive playmaker. He gets into the backfield quick and has a knack for the ball. Either Ellis or Laws would be great alongside John McCargo. Linebacker Dan Conner is also another possibility. He is a great tackler and would be a great complement to Paul Posluszny and Angelo Crowell. Conner will definitely be a first round pick but I don’t know if the Bills will go linebacker with their first round pick. Defensive Back Rodgers-Cromartie from Tennessee State had a tremendous game. He has the speed to close on receivers and the ball skills to get the interception. He might be the best corner in the draft. I was trying to get a good look at the wide receivers. There wasn’t one that jumped out at me. I like Adarius Bowman’s size but he couldn’t hold on to the ball in the endzone. Caldwell from Florida is a speedster but reminds me of a bigger Roscoe Parrish. There were a few receivers that didn’t play because of injury that I would have liked to see. I think the Bills should go defense in round one and then draft a receiver in the second round. The receiver class is deep this year so the Bills can afford to wait. I can’t wait for the combine to see more of the players I mentioned. Go Bills.

Hello Bills fans. It was announced today that Aaron Schobel would be going to the pro bowl for the second consecutive year. Schobel was named a pro bowl alternate and will be going in place of the Dolphins Jason Taylor. Schobel ended the season with 6.5 sacks but had 96 tackles and six forced fumbles. Schobel deserves to go because year in and year out he is one of the top ends in the game. This year Schobel was doubled teamed more but still made a lot of stops when the Bills needed him to. I was extremely happy when the Bills signed Schobel to an extension this past season. Many think that Aaron is overrated and not a dominant end but I can promise you that without him the defense would surely suffer. Congrats to Aaron. Good luck in Hawaii. Go Bills.

Hello Bills fans. The biggest decision the front office has to make this off-season is if the Bills will trade J.P. Losman. With new coordinator Turk Schonert in place, it has already been announced that Trent Edwards will be the starting quarterback in 2008. I for one don’t think they should unless a team gives up either a starting player or a great draft pick. Edwards will only be going into his second season and the Bills do not have another experienced NFL quarterback on their roster. Losman has one year left on his contract and if the Bills were smart they would keep him around for insurance. I really thought Losman was going to have a great season in 07 because of the way he finished off the 2006 campaign. It is a shame that he just couldn’t develop any type of consistency and was outplayed by a rookie. Trent does need more time to develop but I was encouraged by how well he played without many weapons. If the team can add a tall wide receiver and a pass catching tight end, Edwards will do just fine this coming season. Good luck to JP and lets go Bills.

Hello Bills fans. The NFL announced today that Bills defensive end Anthony Hargrove will be suspended without pay for the entire 2008 season. Hargrove was going to be a free agent in March and had expressed his desire to stay with the team. The Bills would have rewarded him with a contract if this suspension did not occur. This is the third time Hargrove tested positive in his career. It’s a shame because I thought after the off field incident this past training camp Hargrove would have changed his life around. I’m upset because Hargrove was such a spark plug out there. He knew how to get the fans into the game and was a valuable backup at both end and defensive tackle. The Bills will have to look in free agency or the draft to fill his position. It looks like Hargrove’s days with the Bills are over.

On behalf of DieHardSportsFan.net and Die Hard Bills Fan, I apologize for the site being inaccessible. Apparantly, the website outgrew the hosting package. My hosting company decided to shut it down rather than warn me that it was going to happen. Once the dialogue began, the hosting company had to move the website from one server to another and the process took longer than I was hoping it would. Again, my apologies.

Hello Bills fans. Today the NFL announced the seventeen finalists for the Hall of Fame and Andre Reed is one of them. I really hope Andre gets in this year because he truly deserves it. The only thing that makes me nervous is that Cris Carter and Art Monk are also on the list. Reed has better numbers than Monk but not Carter. Hopefully the voters see that Andre deserves to be in. You cant argue about how great a career Reed had. His numbers are off the charts. He ended his career with 951 receptions for 13,198 receiving yards and 87 touchdowns. Andre was such a big part of the super bowl teams and I hope they acknowledge that. Good Luck Andre. I hope you get in. Go Bills.

Hello Bills fans. This past Saturday the Buffalo Bills promoted Russ Brandon to Chief Operating Officer. Brandon will oversee daily operations for the Bills. Bills owner Ralph Wilson promoted him. It seems as if the Bills will not have anyone in the front office with the title of general manager. The Bills also promoted John Guy to Vice President of Pro Personnel and Tom Modrak has been promoted to Vice President of College Scouting. After this was announced, I was under the impression that the new offensive coordinator would be named. Does this mean that if the Bills were to promote someone already on the coaching staff it would have happened already? I believe that they have their eye on someone and it could possibly be someone on one of the playoff teams. That is just an opinion. Numerous reports show quarterbacks coach Turk Schonert will be promoted. The Bills are really stressing continuity and that is the main reason why they didn’t hire someone outside the organization to be general manager. I believe the Bills will be in great shape with the front office that is in place. We need to have a great draft this year and make the playoffs in 2008. Lets hope this comes true. I’m tired of not having my team play in January. Go Bills.
