Bills Fall To Eagles
Hello Bills fans. The Buffalo Bills lost to the Eagles 17-9 in the season finale. The Bills lost the last three games of the season to fall to 7-9. How can this team expect to win with no offense? Marshawn Lynch rushed for over 100 yards but had to struggle to get there. Our offense was terrible all season long. We set a franchise record for the fewest touchdowns in a 16 game season. Bills receiver Josh Reed stated after the game that the offense was way to predictable all season long. He also said that his eight-year-old son could defend the Bills offense. I agree with you Josh. It seemed every game the Bills coaches were scared to go down the field. It was always run, run, and then short pass. You cannot win in this league by being that predictable. The announcers of yesterday’s game called out when we were going to run the ball. How bad is your offense when even the announcers know when you are going to run. The Eagles would stack 10 defenders at the line of scrimmage because they knew we would run the ball. I love Marshawn but we have to be able to get some yardage through the air to put points on the board. The offense had plenty of chances to score in this game. We were in the red zone four times and only came away with three field goals. Not having Jason Peters out there also hurt our offense. Trent Edwards was pressured most of the day and when he had his chances the throws were not on target. The only consolation to losing yesterday was it helped improve our draft position. The Bills have the 11th pick in the 2008 draft. Hopefully we can add some playmakers to our team this off-season. Go Bills.
