Trent Edwards Press Conference

Hello Bills fans. Happy Holidays to all. I just listened to Trent Edwards press conference. He was asked about facing the Eagles this weekend and about what he has learned in his rookie season. He seems to be totally grateful for the opportunity and will contain to develop chemistry with the team. Trent also mentioned the good things that have happened and also the bad things that he has endured. I feel that Edwards is our future and we need him to know that going into next season. He also gave credit to a fellow rookie Marshawn Lynch. This past week Marshawn eclipsed the 1000-yard mark. He is the first Bills rookie to do so since 1984. With Marshawn and Trent in the fold, I feel next year we will have more success as an offense. It will also help to hire an offensive coordinator from within. Look for quarterbacks coach Turk Schonert to get the job. This will only help the offense because Trent will not have to learn a new offense in only his second season. This week will be a tough game because the Eagles do have a pretty good defense. It looks like pro bowl left tackle Jason Peters will not play this week. Kirk Chambers will get the start. Trent is familiar with Chambers from their days together at Stanford. I hope that we can get some points on the board this week and finish the season with an 8-8 record. Go Bills.
