Josh Reed Turning Into Go To Guy
Hello Bills fans. Josh Reed is having a really good season. He has 43 catches for 484 yards. The numbers don’t jump out at you but he is very effective working the middle of the field. Last week against the Redskins, four of Reed’s five catches went for first downs. It clearly shows that quarterback Trent Edwards has a lot of faith in him. In Trent’s post game press conference he called Reed a great wide receiver. The 31-yard reception in the 4th quarter was the play of the game. Reed has a knack for breaking tackles and getting that extra couple of yards. He is running better routes and hopefully that will get him more receptions as well as taking the pressure off of Lee Evans and Roscoe Parrish. I have always thought Reed was a key to our success. Many people bashed him for not living up to his status as a second round pick. I was glad when the Bills re-signed him before last season. Reed is only going to get better as Edwards gets more experience behind center. Thanks for the big catch Josh. Go Bills.
