Preview Game 8: Bengals vs. Bills
![]()
Hello Bills fans. Tomorrow the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Ralph Wilson Stadium to take on the Bills. This is an extremely important game because if we win we are at .500. Our defense is going to have a tough task keeping Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmandzadeh in check. I think we are up for the challenge. Here are the key matchups to the game.
Chad & TJ vs. Bills secondary: This is probably going to decide the game here. If Terrence McGee and Jabari Greer can limit Chad and TJ we should be able to win this game. Carson Palmer is a really good quarterback and knows how to find his playmakers. That is going to be extremely tough because both receivers are having great seasons. Look for Donte Whitner and George Wilson to make some crushing hits on both wideouts. I think if we can shutdown one of them we will be alright.
J.P. Losman vs. Bengals defense: J.P. needs to have a big game to convince the coaching staff that he is the guy. The Bengals defense is injury riddled and we should be able to run on them. Hopefully Marshawn Lynch can pickup some big gains, which would in turn open up the passing game. J.P. needs to be smart and not try to force balls into coverage. Look for Lee Evans and Roscoe Parrish to catch a couple of long balls. Josh Reed also needs to be involved because he is a great runner after the catch.
Special Teams: It looks like this week our special teams should be able to have a good day. The Bengals rank near the bottom in the league in special teams. Hopefully Terrence McGee and Roscoe Parrish get big returns on both kickoff and punts. I would love to see Roscoe bust one because he is such an electrifying runner. Lets hope we can get points on offense but I will take points were ever we can get them.
Although the Bengals are 2-5, they are a very dangerous team. Running back Rudi Johnson is going to play this week. He is a tough guy to bring down. Carson Palmer has two really good wide receivers and it will be tough for us to cover them. Aaron Schobel and Chris Kelsay need to get pressure on Palmer and force him to make some bad throws. We will need to create some turnovers in this game. My prediction is Bills 24 Bengals 17. Lets Go Bills. Bring home a victory.
