Jabari Greer

Hello Bills fans. After losing cornerback Nate Clements to free agency, the Bills were in desperate need to find his replacement. Little did they know his eventual replacement would be somebody already on their roster. Jabari Greer has turned into a pretty good cornerback. In training camp, newly signed corner Jason Webster earned the starting role. Ashton Youboty was his backup and Greer was buried on the depth chart. After Webster got hurt, Youboty assumed the starter role opposite Terrence McGee. Youboty would eventually get hurt and next in line was Greer. Jabari had a big game against the Jets with five tackles and an interception. This earned him AFC defensive player of the week. Greer would again get to start the next game against the Dallas Cowboys. This was a real big test for him because the Cowboys have really good receivers especially Terrell Owens. Well Greer came to play and had an interception for the second straight week. He also had a few big tackles and broke up a two-point conversion pass to Owens in the endzone. Greer and McGee held Owens to two catches in that game. I am really impressed with the way Greer has played. He has a knack for the ball and is very aggressive. He also has great closing speed and can be physical. He tackles well and hopefully will continue to help this young defense grow. Greer and McGee make a great combo and will hopefully have all Bills fans saying Clements who. Thanks Jabari. You are definitely an exciting player to watch. Lets go Bills.
