Bills Release Scobey and Sign Cornerback
![]()
Hello Bills fans. The Bills have released running back Josh Scobey and signed cornerback Jerametrius Butler. Scobey was kept on the roster because of his special teams skills. This past Sunday he filled in for Terrence McGee on kickoffs. He did look a bit indecisive at times taking the ball out of the endzone. He averaged 22.4 on five returns. The Bills had to release him because we already have four healthy running backs on the roster. Butler is familiar with Bills defensive coordinator Perry Fewell. He coached Butler in St. Louis we he was a secondary coach. Butler comes in with experience but has suffered injuries over the past two seasons. All we need is another injury prone corner. We will see how this pans out. The Bills were very thin at corner last week with McGee being out. We only had three healthy corners and that is not what you want going into a game. Lets hope Butler can make some plays if called upon. Lets Go Bills. Please give us a win this weekend.
