J.P. Losman needs to have a big game

Hello Bills fans. The first two weeks of the season have not been easy to stomach. I don’t know what is worse a last second heartbreaking loss or a blowout. On the bright side we are only 0-2 and could easily be 1-1 at this point. One major area of concern has been the play of our starting quarterback J.P. Losman. In the first game, Losman missed on a deep ball to Evans that would have sealed the win. In the second game, Losman looked like his head wasn’t in the game. Most of his throws were high and he only attempted five passes going into the half. You cannot win ball games in this league with throwing that few passes unless your defense is scoring and your running back has over 100 yards. I for one believe in Losman. He has all the tools to be successful in this league. I just wish offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild would utilize his speed more. Just roll J.P. out of the pocket every once in a while and let him try to make a play. It seems as if the Bills don’t want to make any errors and very rarely attack the center of the field. Losman also needs to go through his reads better. We have a terrific back in Marshawn Lynch that can catch the ball out of the backfield. Start running some screens with Marshawn and let the enormous highly paid offensive line earn their checks. Losman also needs to get the ball in the hands of Lee Evans. I also believe that this past week the loss of Josh Reed hurt this offense even more. Roscoe Parrish is a good slot receiver but it seems that Reed has a better chemistry with J.P. Reed would have caught at least four or five passes. Losman needs as many weapons as he can get. He must in my opinion show some things in this next game against the Pats. Of course we have to play one of the best teams in the league for the second week in a row. Losman must show that he has what it takes to get this team down the field. The Bills need to score touchdowns to be able to stay in this game. I don’t believe that Losman is under fire at this point. I would say if he doesn’t improve by mid-season, Coach Dick Jauron would have no choice but to make a change. I want to see Losman succeed because I do believe he can win games for us. Maybe I’m just a diehard fan but I do feel that he is the right guy for the job. He just has to read the field and defenses better and trust the guys around him. Lets go J.P. I’m pulling for you. Go Bills.
